Unit features
- Built-in speaker, which mutes itself when the microphone opens to prevent feedback
- Two 3.5 mm stereo earphone sockets
- Red indicator on the base of the unit and on the microphone head
- Detachable microphone, released by pressing the button on the unit
Operating modes
Open with automatic switch-off
You set how many delegate microphones can be open at once (1, 2, 3 or 4). A microphone switches itself off if the speaker stops talking for 30 seconds.
Open manual
The same limit on simultaneous microphones, but each delegate switches theirs on and off with the button.
Override
One delegate at a time: when someone presses their button, the microphone of whoever was speaking switches off.
Chairman only
Only chairman units can be activated.
Test
Lights every indicator on the connected units, to check the installation before you start.
The 30-second switch-off is what saves a long session. Without it, half the room leaves the microphone open after speaking and the background noise builds until nothing is intelligible.
It needs the CCS900 control unit. The units chain to each other, so extending the room means adding microphones to the chain.
