The full audiovisual installation for the 42nd Granada Half Marathon, in 2026: what the runners saw at the start, what the crowd watched at the finish, and what went out live for everyone else.
What was installed
- Giant LED screen on the finish straight, carrying the race live, the results and the event's content, at over 3,000 nits so it reads in daylight
- Two 25-metre LED banners, one on each side of the finish, fully programmable and updated live
- LED screen truck at the start, with real-time information where the runners gather
- PA distributed over six points of the course, for announcements, information and atmosphere
The live broadcast is fed into the main screen with camera control from the production position, so what the crowd at the finish sees and what goes out online are the same pictures.
Structures and power
Certified structures, backup generators with UPS, and technical staff on site through set-up, the race itself and the take-down. In a road race there is no second attempt: everything has to work in the two hours the runners are on the course.
