Spanish–Italian interpretation with 100 receivers, a 3.5 × 2 m LED screen, live vision mixing and a Zoom webinar for the guests attending remotely.
An international corporate event at Almería City Council, with people in the room and people connected from elsewhere, in Spanish and Italian. Everything had to work the same for both audiences, which is the part that usually gets left to chance.
Interpretation and remote attendance
- 100 digital receivers and 2 high-power transmitters for full coverage of the room
- 2 iPads feeding the translated language channels
- Spanish–Italian interpretation, with the interpretation channels carried into a professional Zoom webinar so remote guests heard the same thing as the room
Sound
- 5 table microphones for the speakers and 1 lectern microphone
- 2 Sennheiser wireless handheld microphones
- 4 Turbosound iP300 speakers for even coverage of the hall
- Digital mixing desk with real-time control
Vision
- LED screen of 3.5 × 2 m for presentations and the live feed
- 2 Panasonic digital cameras covering the room from two angles
- Roland VR-120HD for live vision and audio mixing
- Two presentation computers, one of them as backup
Four technicians ran the event: audio and interpretation, vision and screen, streaming and remote participants, and a coordinator on wireless intercom holding the three together.
