World Olive Day, organised by the International Olive Council at IFEJA in Jaén. Four days of sessions with delegations from several countries, which is to say four days in which nothing could be allowed to go quiet.

Microphones that move the cameras
The 115 digital microphones drive the Full HD PTZ cameras by autotracking: whoever opens their microphone is the person on screen, without anyone in a booth deciding it shot by shot. Over four days and a room that size, that is the difference between a production and a scramble.
Simultaneous interpretation
- 220 multilingual receivers for the delegates in the room
- 12 interpreters working remotely, feeding their channels into the same system
- Live streaming of the sessions with the interpretation channels included
Screens and sound
- 2 LED screens of 3.5 × 2 m for presentations and the live feed
- 10 professional 75-inch monitors along the conference table, so delegates follow without turning round
- Distributed PA across the venue, with no dead spots — a hall like IFEJA has plenty of places to find one
Live production ran throughout, both for the room and for the recording, so the organisers had usable material the same week rather than a month later.
