A family business with a technological vocation
Electrónica Galán was founded in 1939 by Manuel Galán Marín in Granada. What began as a small workshop manufacturing radio receivers has grown, three generations later, into a leading company in electronic and audiovisual solutions across Spain.
Today, our main lines of business are the research, development and sale, as well as the rental of all types of electronic systems: Giant LED Screens, Simultaneous Translation, , Electronic Voting, Electronic Locks, Electronic Sports Scoreboards, Infoport Rental, Conference & Debate Systems, Nurse Call Systems, Language Laboratories, , and all kinds of electronic video systems.
After more than 85 years and three generations of the Galán family at the helm, we maintain the same innovative spirit that founded us: anticipating our clients' technological needs with reliable, professional and cutting-edge solutions.
Over 85 years of history
The beginnings: radio manufacturing
Manuel Galán Marín founded the company in Granada, dedicated to manufacturing radio receivers during the heyday of radio broadcasting expansion in Spain.
The cinema era
With the rise of cinema, the company expanded into manufacturing 35mm commercial cinema projection equipment, sound amplifiers and acoustic speakers. Over 150 cinema installations were completed across Andalusia and southern Spain.
Equipment for music bands
The company adapted to the musical boom of the 1960s by manufacturing professional sound equipment for bands and musical groups, establishing itself as a leading supplier in the entertainment sector.
Pioneers in simultaneous translation
Electrónica Galán began manufacturing, selling and renting simultaneous translation systems — a business line that would become one of the company's pillars to this day.
Educational systems and exports
Development of language laboratories and rehabilitation equipment for people with hearing disabilities. The company began exporting its products to South America, expanding its international reach.
Optoelectronic and sports solutions
Specialisation in optoelectronic solutions: queue management systems, electronic sports scoreboards and sports timing systems for facilities across Spain.
Medical diagnostic equipment
Between 1978 and 1981, the company manufactured 8 radioisotope diagnostic devices, demonstrating its innovation capacity in high-technology fields applied to medicine.
Digital era: LED screens and videowalls
The company embraced the digital revolution by adding giant LED screens, videowalls, electronic voting systems, NFC locks and digital signage solutions to its service catalogue.
Third generation at the helm
Today, with over 3,000 installations completed and the trust of institutions such as the Guardia Civil, Iberia, El Corte Inglés and the Junta de Andalucía, we continue innovating from Granada for all of Spain.
